Meet Silvahnah Eagle
Silvahnah Eagle is an Australian author who grew up in Canberra and now lives in the United States with her husband and sons. Proud of her Scottish, Portuguese, Swiss-Italian, and Australian heritage, she draws strength from the roots that connect her past to the stories she tells today.
Her childhood experiences of feeling unheard inspired her to write so that young readers who feel frightened, lonely, or overlooked know they are not alone. She writes children’s chapter books for ages 8–12, teen novels, and novels for adults, weaving everyday family moments with adventure, mystery, and humor. Her stories celebrate the power of careful listening, cooperation, and the importance of every voice being heard.
Silvahnah also writes poetry and shorter pieces that explore family, heritage, and the quiet strength found in ordinary life. Across all her work, her hope is the same: that readers will feel seen, safe, and encouraged.
With the support, laughter, and strength of her husband and sons, she has turned early struggles into stories that reach others. Australia remains close to her heart as she builds a life with her family in the United States.
Her message is simple and consistent:
“Your feelings matter. Your voice matters. Keep telling until someone listens and helps.”
